The village of Kyrtoni in Fthiotis, is on the road that leads from Atalante to Orchomenos. It is 12 km away from the town of Atalante. Following the application of the so-called Kapodistrias legislation for the unification of Municipalities, now is a part of the municipality of Atalante and, from 2010, belongs to the city of Lokri. According to data from the 2012 census the village has 644 inhabitants. This is the place where tis Athanasias Workshop was born and produces its unique products.
